Movie Poster Genre Classifier
- Designed an optimized classification algorithm to classify a movie poster into a genre.
- Training dataset included 40,000 posters with 25 labels. Our model predicted the genre with an accuracy of 50%.
Finger-Tip Infotainment System
- Constructed a smart glove with inbuilt flex sensors and a Bluetooth module that sends bend angles to an Android device.
- Created an Android app that performs custom actions on the device based on user set rules.
Traffic Routing using A* algorithm
- Partnered on a research project to produce a graph-based routing solution to map navigation.
- Formulated an algorithm to divide a map into pre-defined blocks and apply the A* algorithm to find the shortest route.
Automated Vehicular Air Pollution Detection System
- Collaborated with a team of 5 to remotely measure emission levels of a vehicle using CO and Bluetooth sensors.
- Prototyped an Android app to remotely shut down a vehicle based on its live CO emission levels sent from the Arduino device.
HTMLex - HTML lexical analyzer
- Implemented lexical analysis concepts to label various tags of a website.
- Just enter the source url and the app provides tag usages across the webpage along with a filter option.
Stock Market Trading - Imitating stock trading
- Designed a stock trading application for CSCI 571 project.
- Included features such as add to favorites, buy/sell stocks, visualize historical charts etc.
Stock Market Website - Angular implementation
- Developed full stack stock trading platform using AngularJS + NodeJS and hosted it on AWS EBS.
- Used tools and libraries including RxJS, Material UI, and Bootstrap for a dynamic, modular, and responsive design.
SeaPop - An interactive word based 2D puzzle game
- Collaborated on a fun puzzle game using Unity for a class project.
- Designed various algorithms to shoot the target and added custom animations for reward collections.
MCQMax - A take home assignment given by TestMax Inc.
- Created a simple MCQ style test prep application to showcase my knowledge of Android.
- Utilized fragments, recycler views, custom elements, animations as well as usage of AsyncTask to fetch and refresh the question list.
Solve Your Matrix - A sliding puzzle game
- A puzzle game based on 3x3 sliding matrix problem.
- Designed the custom algorithm to allow for the creation of custom 3x3 matrices and to solve them as well.
DoodleFly - An endless runner game
- Constructed a 2D based endless runner game using the Corona SDK.
- Showcased the advantages of using Lua language to generate layouts and detect object collisions.
Faculty Timetable - App to maintain class timetable
- Simple timetable application with admin, student and tutor logins.
- Implemented dynamic addition and deletion of users by the admin and abstraction of each user type.
- Included detection of classroom clashes as well as custom timetables for each student.
